Bellevue
We may be biased towards Bellevue as we call this great Washington city home.
Bellevue is a vibrant town across Lake Washington from Seattle. It is consistently voted as one of the best places to live with its first-class school district, miles and miles of hiking as well as biking trails, and public beaches perfect for swimming, kayaking, and boating. Bellevue is also a major tech hub with Amazon, T-Mobile, and Microsoft all having a large presence in the city. While Bellevue itself is a metropolitan area, you can find peace within Bellevue’s distinct neighborhoods - Eastgate, Factoria, Somerset, and Wilburton to name a few.
Our perfect day in Bellevue would start in Old Bellevue at Belle Pastry with a ham and cheese croissant and soy latte. From there we would explore the locally owned boutiques and unique gift shops on Old Bellevue’s Main Street. Next we would take a short walk over to the Bellevue Downtown Park, a 21-acre oasis in the heart of Bellevue, to enjoy a concert in the park before heading to Din Tai Fung in Lincoln Square for their world famous Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings). We would then head to the Shops at the Bravern for an amazing high end shopping experience. The day would end at John Howie Steakhouse with a prime custom-aged steak and glass of red wine to unwind.
