Kirkland
Just east of Seattle, on the shores of Lake Washington, is Kirkland, one of Seattle’s fastest growing suburbs. Kirkland is known for its waterfront parks, postcard views, fine art galleries, trendy boutiques, and classy bistros. Though close to both Seattle and Bellevue, Kirkland has laid back beach vibe and small town feel. Kirkland has something for everyone.
Our perfect day in Kirkland starts at Thruline Coffee in downtown Kirkland for a chai tea latte and blueberry scone. From there we would explore the trendy boutiques, fine art galleries, and walk the waterfront in downtown Kirkland. We would stop for lunch at Cactus for their Brisket Burrito. Then we would head to Juanita Bay Park, a 144-acre park, to enjoy one of the many nature trails hidden away in Kirkland. We would end our day at Lady Yum with sampler of macarons and a glass of champagne.
